All forecasts point to huge growth in Africa over the next 25 years where massive concentration of people will be around mega cities. With the advent of technology becoming cheaper we are restarting our vision of using technology to disrupt industries, and in this case we believe foodtech is the way to go as food will always be needed in any business cycle.
The first step in this journey will consist of a number of important milestones, being:
a) Source water-rich land close to city to build R&D facility.
b) Design, build and run prototype facility to establish all operating parameters and costs for a profitable model in terms of market need and factory.
c) Develop and select produce product line strategy with aim to balance profitability model against the investment..
c) Formalize venture structure between stakeholders.
d) Raise funding to fund prototype development and land acquisition.
